I JUST HAD A GIRL FROM MY COURSE OVER AND WE COOKED DINNER AND JUST-ONE-MORE-EPISODED OUR WAY THROUGH THE FIRST DISC OF SUPERNATURAL.

This totally warrants allcaps. I am insanely awkward around people in real life (and also cannot cook), so this feels like a gigantic social achievement. (She had never seen Supernatural before, and now she desperately wants to watch more! VICTORY. Also, at one point she observed that Dean Winchester sort of looked like Richard Hammond. It is obviously the eyebrows.)

Sam/Jess seems to become a little cuter every time I watch the Pilot, which is something I didn't really anticipate but certainly have no objection to. And I find it incredibly difficult to watch the Winchesters without exclaiming 'I LOVE THEM SO MUCH' about twice an episode, which is something I should probably try to keep under control when watching in company. (It distresses me more than it should when horrible things happen to them, and horrible things happen to them all the time.)

Also, I saw 'Children Shouldn't Play With Dead Things' yesterday, and now my mind is pestering me with snippets of appalling necrophilia fanfiction. STOP IT, MIND. If you wanted to show me that there are worse things than writing Sam/Dean, you have succeeded! Please return to the relative normality of the incest.

I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO NOW THAT I HAVE THEM! I want to start watching right away but the excitement of just, having them and knowing I can start anytime is just waaaay too fun.

I've just started working my way through series one, and I already love Dean to a million, billion pieces, and am developing an enormous soft spot for Sam. The teasing! The issues! The angst!

Oh I actually started out as a Sam!girl, but Dean grew on me so fast it was scary. I think it's just that I have a bias towards the younger brother, in t.v. (Chris from "Charmed"), movies {Jake Grimm from "The Brothers Grimm") and books. (Ponyboy in "The Outsiders")

I have an irrational aversion to Sam's S3 hair, and that put me off at first. Plus, while both Sam and Dean have the MASSIVE ISSUES, the trying to be tough and guys about it, the joking, and the heroism, I've seen more 'Dean looks after Sam' than 'Sam looks after Dean' (mostly because Dean won't let anyone look after him). So Dean fires up my protective instincts more.

that is the main reason he has grown on me so. there's just something about that protectiveness that appeals to us, and many other viewers I think. ;)

So you haven't seen most of season 3? Because after some of the occurences in it, I predict more "Sam looking after Dean" moments.

I only saw Mystery Spot before going back to work through the series.

And more 'Sam looking after Dean' moments would work very well for me; Sam seems like he wants to, and Dean needs some looking after.
