No cards (not that I was expecting any; I've never received a Valentine's card from anyone other than my mother), but I did get a letter from newbie1990, which is so much better because Valentine's cards do not contain lines like 'Wilson sighed. "When I said 'try to be nice', you took that as 'be insulting at every possible opportunity', didn't you?' ALTHOUGH THEY ALSO DO NOT GENERALLY CONTAIN DRAWINGS OF PYRAMID HEAD. I WISH PEOPLE WOULD STOP SENDING ME DRAWINGS OF PYRAMID HEAD. Still, it is a lovely letter, and one of the paragraphs starts with 'Jsdfkl!!', which made me smile rather a lot. Handwritten keyboardmashes are bizarre. (Is there really a character in Heroes called 'HRG'? What sort of name is HRG?)

Also, I have watched 'Skin', the sixth episode of Supernatural. ( Spoilers for 'Skin'. )

Is this a terrible thing to think about on Valentine's Day? It probably is, isn't it?

Anyway! Happy Valentine's Day, beloved flist! Due to my perpetually single state, this day is always a celebration of platonic love for me, so I want you to know that I adore you all. If you are on my friendslist, know that you have in some way brightened my life.

We're All In Trouble Now.

I have now watched 'Hook Man', and OH SAM WINCHESTER IS SO ADORABLE AND I WANT TO HUG HIM FOR EVER.

This brings the total number of characters called Sam whom I would like to hug for ever up to three. Why are Sams always so ridiculously adorable? Sam Tyler, Sam Carter and Sam Winchester need to meet up and have adventures together. I don't know whether they would be dealing with criminals, aliens or spirits, though. Possibly criminal alien spirits. The spirits of alien criminals? I don't know.

The point I am trying to make here is that Sam Winchester needs to kiss people more often. By which I do not mean Sam Tyler; the Winchester boys in my mind appear to be almost entirely heterosexual, with the sole exception of some possible dark and repressed Issues regarding each other. Congratulations, Winchesters; you can join Balthier in the 'Characters Riona Finds Almost Unslashable' corner. But Sam Winchester generally does not kiss people enough.

Oh, dear; it's been a while since the last time I was in a 'COUNTLESS POSTS ABOUT A SINGLE FANDOM' phase, hasn't it? And by 'oh, dear' I mean 'I don't really care; I love it when I get new obsessions'. I'd forgotten what the early stages of falling in love with a series were like! (Sorry to the non-Supernatural fans on my flist, though. Feel free to imagine that all of my entries are filled with pictures of kittens until I've got past the FILLIN' MY LIVEJOURNAL WITH SUPERNATURAL stage.)
