rionaleonhart: final fantasy x-2: the sun is rising, yuna looks to the future. (NOOOOOOOOO)
Every time I think I have seen Derren being as creepy as it is possible to be, he finds some way to exceed himself. The Robbie Williams segment of Trick of the Mind may officially make Derren the most frightening figure of which I know, and I'm including Pyramid Head.

Well, all right, I'd still choose being trapped in a lift with Derren Brown over being trapped in a lift with Pyramid Head any day, but that's because Derren is less likely to actually kill me. It does not mean that he is not massively, ridiculously terrifying. Because he is. He really, really is.

three blind mice, three blind mice, see how they run...

'Three Blind Mice' is a fairly creepy rhyme as it is, but now it's going to go just above 'Can You Feel It?' on the list of Things That Will Never Be The Same Again, Thanks A Lot, Derren Brown.

The most alarming thing is that it doesn't appear to be a demonstration of Derren's skills; it just seems that Derren felt like being really freaking scary. DERREN BROWN DOES NOT NEED AN EXCUSE TO STICK NEEDLES IN YOU. IF HE FEELS LIKE CRUCIFYING YOU AND STICKING NEEDLES THROUGH YOUR ARMS, THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT HE IS GOING TO DO.

(This looks like the right video, if you're curious. ENJOY THE CREEPY.)

Well, after that bit of 'AUGH DERREN BROWN IS REALLY REALLY SCARY', I think it is time to quote Derren Brown being rather adorable and insecure (seriously, Derren, you are going to give me whiplash). From his book, Tricks of the Mind:

Cut for language. )

I like to imagine it was the same couple.
