rionaleonhart: final fantasy x-2: the sun is rising, yuna looks to the future. (oh very well)
Because I can, I am going to type up the DVD commentary from the 'Spin the Bottle' scene in episode 2.01 of Peep Show. The commentators are actors David Mitchell and Robert Webb, and writers Sam Bain and Jesse Armstrong. Sadly, I am not familiar enough with Bain and Armstrong to differentiate their voices, so when one of them speaks I credit it to 'Barmstrong'. Sorry, guys.

Ooh, first, an earlier exchange that amused me, before the skinny-dipping scene:

Webb: The stripping contest I'm about to have was going to go further, originally...
Barmstrong: It did go further.
Webb: It did go further, and we just cut it, didn't we? 'Cause it did get down to some underpants, and, this being Peep Show, obviously there was a very long conversation about whether my underpants were too comedy.
Barmstrong: I felt they were too funny.
Webb: And in fact you offered to let me wear your underpants -
Barmstrong: I was gonna give you my pants.
Webb: - which I think everyone agreed at the time was good of you, but massively weird.

And now the 'Spin the Bottle' scene:

Minor spoilers for the first episode of the second series of Peep Show. )

I'm going to another recording of The Unbelievable Truth today! I am really excited about it and therefore convinced that something is going to go wrong. My body has already tried to thwart me by unexpectedly developing hay fever (I think a potentially-lifelong annoyance is a bit excessive when you just want to ruin one evening, body), but with cunning use of medication I think I can probably keep myself from getting kicked out for sneezing. If all goes well, I'll try to write up a report!
