Move It All Around.
Who wants to see a huge number of characters from assorted fandoms playing Dance Dance Revolution/Dancing Stage? It will improve your day, I assure you. There is just so much love put into this animation! It is charming!
If you enjoy it and would like to let the creator know, you can drop her a comment here.
Unrelatedly: my goodness, I've just realised that the fifth-and-possibly-final season of Supernatural starts in the US tomorrow. Wow.
I have managed to remain almost entirely unspoiled, but here is what I hope the casting spoilers on my flist say:
- Zac Efron. Ideally as a second long-lost brother. That would be excellent. And by 'that would be excellent' I mean 'it would completely ruin Supernatural, but it would do it so beautifully that I wouldn't care'. (Or playing flash-forward fifty-year-old Sam Winchester, as an Asylum attendee inexplicably suggested.)
- Derren Brown, as either a demon or an angel. I'd say 'or another of the psychic children', but we haven't seen any other psychic children since Jake died, have we? Given his talent for being simultaneously charming and creepy, he could in fact be wonderful as Lucifer himself.
- Failing that, Chad Michael Murray as Lucifer would be hilarious.
- Ooh! Or John Simm as Lucifer, playing him exactly as he did the Master! That would be enormously fun.
- Luxord could also make an excellent Lucifer. I mean, yes, he's fictional and computer-generated, which perhaps presents a couple of stumbling blocks, but I'm sure it's nothing a bit more money in the special effects budget or clever manipulation of the Cardiff space-time rift couldn't fix.
- I want Katie Cassidy and Genevieve Cortese to return, both playing Ruby at the same time due to some ridiculous time-travel handwave excuse. It would be amazing.
- EDIT:
wanttobeatree has pointed out the shocking lack of Robert Pattinson in this entry! ROBERT PATTINSON PLAYS A SPARKLY HUNTER. JUST TO BE DIFFERENT. (You wouldn't want to be typecast as a sparkly vampire, would you, Pattinson? This way, you can play whatever you like. So long as it sparkles.) TRYING TO BE INCONSPICUOUS WHILST RESEARCHING IS A NIGHTMARE. When shapeshifters frame Pattinson for murder, Henriksen (who is still alive, shut up) just has to follow the reports of sparkling police officers and journalists.
I want an episode in Season Five in which people are dying mysteriously (so what else is new?). The Winchesters investigate. They become drawn into a battle of wits with their unseen opponent, and gradually realise that it is a human killing through supernatural means.
Eventually, they manage to catch Light Yagami (despite not being supergeniuses. Er. Perhaps they teamed up with L?) and acquire the Death Note.
Sam promises to destroy it.
He doesn't.
Seriously, do watch the multi-fandom Dance Dance Revolution flash. It is thoroughly delightful. Even the parts with characters I don't know charmed me, and the moments of recognising a character (and there are so many that you'll probably know at least a few) make it even better. There is a videogame bias, but I hope that doesn't put non-gamers off watching it, because it is a joy regardless.

Anyway - RIONA. RIONA YOU SEEM TO HAVE MADE A MISTAKE. YOU HAVE NOT SUGGESTED ANY ROLES FOR RPATTZ IN YOUR S5.

I squeaked slightly and took refuge in the Big Gay Drunk In The UK Adventure, which was also there.
Because Oz Clarke is far less scary, even with the Secret Irish Identity.

I have started watching Supernatural recently, and I'm altogether unsure what to think of it! Do you think the later seasons are better? I enjoy the concept well enough, but something about the show just doesn't hit my buttons quite right.

In other opinions on Stuff I Don't Know About (I've never even watched an episode of Supernatural; it's something I keep planning to do When I Have The Time...) John Simm would be an excellent Lucifer in any show but so would Derren Brown. Clearly there needs to be twin Lucifers, possibly with their own show. Of evil.
ALSO. Just double checking that you know the first of Derren's 'Events' is on tonight at 10:35pm on Channel 4? (he's predicting the lottery numbers and the Explanation Show is on Friday). New Derren! I inordinately excited! :D

ETA: *laughs* Beaten to the punch on two counts - I should really type comments faster instead of wandering off to do other things in the middle *g*

Also, I do know of some actual casting spoilers, and there are at least two that will probably make you very happy. They certainly made me quite happy. Unfortunately, it's not a casting spoiler from your list.

...and he would TRY TO TURN SUPERNATURAL INTO A MUSICAL.
And that flash animation is wonderful! Even though I only recognised a few of the characters. It made me squee with joy. ^_^

LazyTown is clearly the epicest fandom to be in. Ever.
(Also: EL DORADO = FOXTROT TANGO WHISKEY)

I DO BELIEVE IT IS
I recognized pretty much none of the other characters (okay, Road to El Dorado and the species of Pokemon, plus Samus and Luigi and the tentacle and okay Revolver Ocelot but that is still a small percentage), but it was worth it ENTIRELY FOR THAT. I can think of pretty much nothing better to wake up to than Snake, Ocelot, and an inexplicable daughter playing DDR. Nothing.

Also, lol I typed 'Zac Efron for fifty-year-old Zac Efron'.
