Or Headbad For Short.
So! Doctor Who.
I want to make a proper reaction post for 'The Almost People', but that's going to be a bit tricky, given that my head is currently filled with HOLY FUCKING SHITTING WHAT WHAT WHAT WHAT. Give me a moment.
Right. Slightly more coherent and less sweary thoughts:
- That was an extremely tense episode. I spent quite a lot of it worrying my nails. (...hang on, I could have sworn 'to worry one's nails' was an actual phrase, but there are no Google results for it. Attacking my nails? Fiddling with my nails in a damaging manner? I swear it's a phrase. Clearly Steven Moffat, not satisfied with merely throwing that ending in my face, has decided to further screw with my mind by obliterating all evidence of phrases that definitely exist from the Internet.)
- Amy frowning and mouthing 'yowza?' was one of my favourite moments. Hee!
- I've really loved Rory in this storyline, particularly in last week's episode. He was so quick to understand Ganger Jennifer and treat her with respect. Rory! ♥! (I never made a proper reaction post for 'The Doctor's Wife', even though it was possibly my favourite episode of Doctor Who ever, so I'm going to say here that THE TARDIS THINKS THAT RORY IS AMY BECAUSE HE'S THE PRETTY ONE, AMAZING.)
- Two Doctors! Interacting with each other! Getting on enormously well! I don't actually want them to shag, because the Doctor isn't really a sexual being in my head, but I would be very much up for several tonnes of flirting. (Have I talked yet about my deep desire for Canton/Crowley Doctor Who/Supernatural crossover fanfiction? Although I suppose the only logical way of making it work would be having Crowley possess Canton, so at no point would there actually be two Mark Sheppards. Alas!)
- I burst out laughing when Dicken was killed. OH NO, NOT GUY WITH SO MINISCULE A ROLE I HADN'T ACTUALLY REALISED HE EXISTED. I was quite sad about Grey-Haired Man Whose Name I Have Forgotten, Oh No Wait I Just Looked It Up And It's Jimmy, though; he was my favourite of the team.
- It took me a few minutes after the episode had finished to realise that, if the Doctors had switched shoes, Amy had told the real Doctor that she had seen him die. WHOOPS.
- THAT ENDING.
WHAT.
WHAT.
WHAT.
AMY WAS A FREAKING GANGER WHAT.
THIS IS SO BAD FOR MY HEAD.
(So when was she replaced? Was she human in 'The Impossible Astonaut', when she actually told the Doctor she was pregnant? She saw the eyepatched midwife for the first time at the orphanage in 'Day of the Moon'; does that mean she was replaced by her ganger in the three months between 'The Impossible Astronaut' and 'Day of the Moon'? Are we going to get more of those mysterious three months? I will be tremendously excited if that is the case. MORE CANTON PLEASE.)
In other news, a moment from Pokémon White I can't believe I previously neglected to mention:
'This is bad! Badbadbadbadbadbadbad! Bad for Team Plasma! Or Plasbad, for short!'
I love this game.
