livii today; I was terribly nervous and awkward, as I usually am when meeting people in Real Life, but she was very patient and lovely and tolerant of my unfortunate tendency to lapse into absolute silence every three minutes, and we spent an afternoon talking about Harry Potter and Doctor Who. Which was awesome!
( Cut because some of you are probably tired of hearing about Harry Potter. Speculation, but no spoilers for the upcoming book. )
I declined her very kind offer to drive me to the hotel, went out to find it and immediately got spectacularly lost. The Pacific Ocean is surprisingly hard to find.
