There was a guy with a Griever necklace in my Approaches to Meaning in English lecture. I stopped him on his way out and told him how awesome he was and asked him where he'd got it from and generally made a complete prat of myself, but I have an excuse, and that excuse is Griever necklace.

Also, I have got more post, because you are all ridiculously lovely. I will talk about it under the cut, because I imagine most of you are fed up with my 'eeeeee, post!' entries by now.

I have realised, rather to my alarm, that the way in which I write Balthier can sometimes make him sound very similar to the Master. I'll have to make them meet at some point and see what happens. (If Balthier hadn't been a hero, he could have made such a good villain.)

I have been watching assorted episodes of Stargate SG-1 lately, and, er, the writers really like to make Daniel suffer, don't they? I bet he gets a lot of hurt/comfort in fanfiction.

I'm about half-way through Series Three at the moment, and I find the number of alternate versions of the main characters we have encountered absolutely hilarious. The possibilities for pairing characters up with themselves are endless! Although Daniel keeps getting left out of the alternate universes. Is this yet another way in which the writers like to be unfair to him? "NO SEX WITH YOUR ALTERNATE SELVES FOR YOU." Which is a shame, because Daniel seems to be the character my mind is most fond of pairing up with himself.

(Seriously, Stargate is just televised crackfic, isn't it? Bodyswap! Alternate universes! Time travel! I haven't seen a genderswap or male pregnancy episode yet, but I wouldn't be all that surprised if one cropped up at some point.)

Also, I am loving Sam (WHOSE NAME I ALMOST TYPED AS 'CAMERON' JUST NOW ASJHJHDSGHGDH I HAVE GOT TO STOP CONFUSING SG-1 CHARACTERS WITH HOUSE ONES) more and more by the episode. I love it when she does that adorable little trying-and-failing-to-hide-it grin!

(I have to confess that I may be becoming A Bit Of A Jack/Sam 'Shipper. Actually, they're all just a big OT4, really, aren't they? It is glorious.)
