Dec. 21st, 2007 05:12 pmI have been watching scattered episodes of Peep Show recently, and I appear to have fallen completely in love with Mark Corrigan. I just want to give him a gigantic hug. NOBODY SHOULD IDENTIFY WITH MARK 'INCAPABLE OF NORMAL HUMAN INTERACTION' CORRIGAN AS MUCH AS I DO. SOMETHING IS HORRIBLY WRONG WITH ME.
Oh, God, I've just realised how much I would like to send him into Silent Hill. And Jeremy would be with him, and he would just make everything so much worse, but Mark would still be incredibly distressed when the two of them inevitably became separated. Because their love is true, even if it is horribly dysfunctional and destructive.
...That's - that's Jeremy from Peep Show, by the way. Not Jeremy Clarkson, who is probably the Jeremy to whom most of my flist's minds will have leapt. The love of Mark Corrigan and Jeremy Clarkson is slightly less true. (But quite possibly no less destructive.)
