Oct. 5th, 2020 09:50 amMore Persona 5! I really like this game. The battle system's interesting, the characters are fun, and the whole thing just has a lot of style and charm.
Although I'm pretty outraged that at one point an in-game teacher asked me 'how many colours does it take to paint this picture without any two adjacent sections being the same colour?' and I spent ages working out that the answer was two and gave the answer 'two' and the game INCORRECTLY went 'no, four'.
'Come again soon, if you're still alive.' Scary Doctor continues to be, as the name suggests, extremely scary.
'Ain't you totally fallin' for this soy sauce flavour too?' Ryuji asked me as we ate together, and I said 'I'm in love' and got a bunch of affection points. I'm just making a note.
If you say you're happy to have so much great food to eat, Ryuji says, 'It's cute hearin' that from someone like you,' and frankly it's a crime that he is not romanceable.
I obviously had to name our band of phantom thieves 'Dark', after the phantom thief in DN Angel. (Come to think of it, I gave Rei the surname Hiwatari, after another DN Angel character, before I'd even realised both canons involved phantom thieves.)

Okay, I'm reloading my save and renaming us. This cannot stand.
I have righted this wrong and we are now the Phantoms. I had to replay two days, but it was worth it.
...I've just checked the in-game calendar and realised that midterm exams start in a few days. My knowledge level is still at 'oblivious'. I think I'm in trouble.
I'm getting worried about these exams that don't exist now. I can't believe this game has done this to me. My days of worrying about exams were supposed to be over. I just want Rei to do well!
It's hard to focus on the story because I'm busy worrying about when I'm going to get the opportunity to study, why is this game doing this to me
MORGANA, YOU COULDN'T HAVE INTRODUCED US TO MEMENTOS AFTER MY EXAMS?
I saw a few people online joking that the cat in Persona 5 is a car, and I was going, 'Well, maybe someone mistyped cat as car at some point and it took off, but in this game I'm not sure I can rule out the cat actually being a car.' Turns out the cat can transform into a car. Okay, Persona 5.
It's a cute detail that all the teenagers automatically get in the back of the car, leaving no one in the driver's seat.
Did turning on the car turn on the car? Worrying.
