Thank you so much for your support, both in the comments to my previous entry and over the past four months of stress. I am so lucky to know all of you. (I suppose it's conceivable that You, The Reader might be someone I do not, in fact, know, but I'm sure you're excellent anyway.)

I feel a bit odd now. I don't quite know what to do when I don't have a massive deadline looming over me, it seems. What do people do when they're not panicking over dissertations?

Ooh, I can start writing again! Well, yes, I was writing before, but now I can write without guilt. The drive to write may well have scarpered now that the allure of procrastination no longer hovers about it, but let's give this a go anyway:

Give me a prompt (or several), and I'll write you a one-sentence fic.

(I should become slightly less terrible at responding to things now. Let's hope.)

Oh, excellent, I was struggling with that key piece of casting. Who do you think for Draco? Victoria Coren?

If we make Giles Pansy, does that become massively icky or kind of hot?

Each to their own, but I'm afraid I find that thought massively icky. Also, I don't think Alan Coren as Lucius would work very well, so I take my suggestion back.

I actually think Victoria Coren could make quite a good McGonagall, if we make this a gender-irrelevant casting rather than a genderswapped one. She's certainly not going to take any of her students' nonsense.

I approve of this addition of Giles Coren into things. Also, I feel that by including Shappi, we should include some of her science-minded friends.

Actually, if Giles is there, so should Sue Perkins. They can run around and be the Weasley twins together.

Robin Ince for Prof McGonagall, y/n?

Ignoring the genderswap aspect, Ben Goldacre for Snape - he'd get shouty and snarky at everyone who doesn't do Potions properly.

If they don't all have to be genderswapped, I think Stephen Fry would make an excellent Dumbledore.

Possibly because I was subjected to too many of her non-jokes at the last HIGNFY filming, I want Julia Hartley-Brewer as Voldemort.

(And Marcus Brigstocke as ... fff, I don't know. But I want to hear him ranting.)

I don't know who she is, but all right! Who're we having as Ginny Weasley? They need to be feisty and compatible with Shappi-as-Harry. Maybe Robert Webb? David is involved, so should Robert.

I was about to suggest Amy Pond, and then I remembered that she is a) not a comedian and b) fictional.

I'd still like to see Amy Pond/Shappi Khorsandi, though.
