I've concluded that I don't love Torchwood. I enjoy watching it, but I don't love it, and if it didn't get another series I wouldn't shed a tear. Alas.

Also, it starts getting really, really good about half-way through Season 2, and keeps up with that through S3, which is my favourite, because there is Oz (I LOVE OZ) and Season 4 and 5 and then it starts getting a litte hmmm. But still. MUSICAL EPISODE YEY.

Five Scenes From Top Gear That Didn't Make It Past The Editor's Cut:

5. When Top Gear Dog actually stood up and moved, which obviously had to be taken out in order to prevent the British viewing public dying of shock.
4. When James and Richard found a novel but unfortunately not appropriate pre-watershed way of passing time in the Smart ForFour challenge.
3. When Jeremy and a member of the audience had a polite disagreement over the merits of the Ford GT, ending when Jeremy punched him in the face.
2. When the three of them developed a secret game of sneaking ever-more-blatant innuendo into everything they said. By the end of shooting, there was quite enough material in there to convince the general public that all three of them were having sex with each other, half the audience and every car they'd ever reviewed if they didn't strip it all out.
1. When Richard and James filmed an extremely long segment on Dashboard Spot-The-Difference, which was deemed 'far too boring', much to their indignation.

Hee hee! ALSO I CANNOT BELIEVE HE URINATED IN -- IN FRONT OF A CAMERA. That is some dedication. I like how there's no mention of James desperately needing to go.

5. When, exasperated and exhausted, he said "Shut up, Torn" in the middle of his outlining the next mission and spent the next week being sent on incredibly dangerous forays into the Sewers.
4. When Keira decided that he couldn't be the Jak she knew because her Jak didn't talk, and he had a hell of a time trying to convince her otherwise.
3. When, fed up with everything, he climbed up to the highest point in Dead Town and yelled until he was hoarse, and the next day his throat was sore and dry and scratchy, which was a feeling he had never experienced before and didn't like at all.

5. She is adorable - well, yes, all right, so is Richard, but she could be argued to be even more adorable and certainly looks better shirtless - and the fact that the Top Gear team have their own dog is adorable.
4. She will choose lying down and going to sleep over driving cars off cliffs and is therefore much more sensible than her co-presenters.
3. She's fluffier than any of the others. Even James.
2. She's never insulted the Germans. Or the French. Or the Dutch. Or the Americans. She is an open-minded sort of dog and will fall asleep on anyone equally.
1. Has she ever set a car-wash on fire? Has she? No.
