YOUR COUNTRY IS SILLY
Alive and well and in San Francisco! (I saw Hot Fuzz for the first time on the aeroplane. PLEASE TELL ME THAT SOMEONE HAS WRITTEN NICHOLAS ANGEL/SAM TYLER.)
Oh, dear, I'm going to be arrested for jaywalking, aren't I? We can cross wherever we like in England! It's a difficult habit to break! ALSO, THE RIGHT IS A SILLY SIDE FOR VEHICLES TO DRIVE ON.

Re Tyler/Angel: I tried, but god knows if I will ever finish it.

Oh, yay! May I see the start, then? I may have to bully you into continuing.

There're these things called zebra-paths, if you used those, there is less chance of a car driving over you.
Also, the right side is the right side to drive, it's in the name already!
And how much utterly ridiculous fic did you write?
no subject
It has thirteen so far, and crosses over Life on Mars, Doctor Who, Scrubs, Top Gear, Final Fantasy XII, Torchwood and Sherlock Holmes. Also, Zombie Piers Morgan shows up.
I am never actually going to write it, before you get any ideas.
no subject
Do we at least get to see the synopsis?
Also,
Also also, you either need to write copious amounts of prompted Doctor Who fic or have some kind of competition, I think. 'cause I don't want all those prompts to go to waste :P.

I await the expanded edition eagerly :).

Ahahahahahahaha. Yesssss. ♥

You're absolutely right! There are so many glorious prompts in there, and so many of them absolutely have to be written.

I give it a month. (http://rionaleonhart.livejournal.com/49399.html?mode=reply)

I'm so tempted to road trip down there and see you. You're right below me, damn it! Same time zone and everything!
Keep us updated, miss you already! :)

Find a pedestrian who looks like they know what they're doing and jump onto their back.
(Noooooo! Angel's meant to be with Danny! Also, was it the silly cut version with all the swearing changed?)
no subject
(He is meant to be with Danny, but he is also meant to be paired up with Sam at least a little. THEY ARE THE SAME.)

Obv. you should backpack your way down and say hello.

We happen to think, horrific pun intended, the right side is the right side to drive on.Damn, I lost in the race to make that pun.We enjoy being silly.
In New York, there is a law that states if you walk in the crosswalk, cars MUST stop for you. Even if they have the green light. It is rude to do that, but it makes you feel in charge.
Have fun!

... We also have excellent beer. Yay microbreweries.

Why is it silly to drive on? I mean granted, I can't drive whether I'm supposed to be on the right, left, or somewhere off the road, but still!!
no subject
You are in America now, where the car is king and they drive on the wrong side of the road! For the left side is the right side, and the right side is the wrong side, so remember that if the right side is the wrong side the left side must be the right side because it is the only one left. (Paraphrased from an old Disney Cartoon).
Bah, pedestrians should be free to go where they wish!
no subject
I have always felt like a bit of an idiot, because when I spent a few days in England, I completely never even noticed all of the "driving on the other side of the road" stuff.
no subject
I'm from Montreal originally, and jaywalking is a sport there between the cars and the pedestrians, so I never obey those silly laws here, heh.
no subject
It depends where you're at? In New York City, everyone crosses the road whenever the want, so you basically can't drive anywhere. I... haven't actually been to San Francisco, so I don't know. HAVE YOU RIDDEN ONE OF THOSE TROLLEY THINGS???
no subject
I have not yet ridden one of those trolley things! I expect I shall at some point.
(IT IS SEVEN IN THE EVENING ON THE CLOCK AND THREE IN THE MORNING IN MY MIND AAAAAAH)

...it doesn't take much for me to be entertained while waiting in line.
I hope you do! AND THAT YOU TELL US ALL ABOUT IT IN GREAT DETAIL! Or, um, at least your impressions of the town. I like hearing about travel and hijinks! Especially your families hijinks.
(TIME LAG IS TERRIBLE. I -- I would give you some tips, but I don't have any. The only time it happened to me, I just went to bed all day.)
no subject
I AGREE ABOUT JAYWALKING AND THAT THE RIGHT IS A SILLY SIDE OF THE ROAD TO DRIVE ON.
Apparently, you can get away with pretty much anything in America if you're English.
no subject
Anyway. Homg America. So exciting. HAVE MANY MANY FUNS BABE!

(Anonymous) 2007-07-11 07:02 pm (UTC)(link)...I have never seen Hot Fuzz (ohtheshame), but Life On Mars crossovers=awesome.
Isn't Britain, like, one of VERY FEW countries that drive on the left? EVERYONE ELSE IS MAD.
I hope you are not arrested and that you continue to be alive and well!
