Oh, dear, I'm going to be arrested for jaywalking, aren't I? We can cross wherever we like in England! It's a difficult habit to break! ALSO, THE RIGHT IS A SILLY SIDE FOR VEHICLES TO DRIVE ON.

We actually got an extremely nice man at Customs! He made jokes and was very friendly and generally made me feel a bit silly for being so apprehensive about it.

I have not yet ridden one of those trolley things! I expect I shall at some point.

Hoorah! I've had bad experiences with Customs people (see: the Abenteuer) and good experiences with them (see: this summer). It's really stressful either way. On the plus side, this last time I got to see a Customs agent drag a scrappy tree around their building, as well as see another throw away a lot of frozen dinners called "HUNGRY MAN."

...it doesn't take much for me to be entertained while waiting in line.

I hope you do! AND THAT YOU TELL US ALL ABOUT IT IN GREAT DETAIL! Or, um, at least your impressions of the town. I like hearing about travel and hijinks! Especially your families hijinks.

(TIME LAG IS TERRIBLE. I -- I would give you some tips, but I don't have any. The only time it happened to me, I just went to bed all day.)
