I Thought I Was Stronger Than This.

YOU GUYS

[livejournal.com profile] the_funmonkey HAS WRITTEN A DERREN BROWN/SUPERNATURAL CROSSOVER

(YES, DERREN BROWN IS A FANDOM)

Oh, I just want everyone to write Derren Brown fanfiction all the time. He is a delight to write for and a delight to read and I am delighted.

Rewatching the Supernatural episode 'The Magnificent Seven' after Derren Brown has infected one's mind is a terribly bizarre experience. When Bobby says, 'Do you have any idea what we're dealing with here?', the answer is quite clearly 'Derren Brown'. The demons put a hand on the victim's shoulder and implant a suggestion! Just like Derren Brown! Envy even has the beard!

Of course, after I realised that all of the Deadly Sins were, in fact, Derren Brown, the scene in which Dean makes out with Lust became very odd indeed.

...

I HAVE JUST MADE A HORRIBLE MISTAKE, AND THAT MISTAKE'S NAME IS [livejournal.com profile] derrenbrownfic.

PLEASE LINK, JOIN, WRITE AND POST WHILST I WEEP AT MY LACK OF RESTRAINT.

When I get back to the computer with the icon on it, its default is totally going to be Derren Brown with a Jigglypuff.

This icon is eerily appropriate.

This may come as a shock to you, but my 'fic-bunny involves Derren Brown being really, really evil. It's also very Firefly-heavy, which may be rather unfortunate for you... but don't worry! There's Supernatural in there as well (Derren doing a Heel Face Turn in order to help Sam and Dean out with a Big Bad who turns out not to really be one anyway).
Oh yeah, and it's set in an AU where humans and Toons exist in the same 'verse, which was ALL DERREN'S FAULT, BECAUSE HE OPENED UP THE VORTEX BETWEEN THE WORLDS BY ACCIDENT. The Animaniacs, Dream of the Endless and Daria end up in there somehow, as well as a few Pokémon.

I hope I'll be able to do this as well as my original fiction story, which is really taking over my brain at the moment...

OMIGOD IS THERE FIREFLY/DERREN! OMIGOD. Can he get with the sexy bitch conwoman? PLEASE. Saffron?

And Mal, of course.

Actually, he wasn't going to get with anyone, becoming a sort of father-figure to River Tam instead, but he's most likely to snog Mal out of all of them... *ahemskie*

I can think of few things more terrifyingly brilliant than Derren as a father figure to anyone, particularly River.

Is one of the few either:

1) Derren obtaining The Brain as his new pet mouse?

2) Derren with a Death Note?

Yes... yes he does. But it doesn't really go how you'd think - he just dismisses it. The only person's name he writes down is one he thinks he's made up - and he turns out to be the gatekeeper of the Toon World. So that's how the vortex gets opened. So yeah.

But but but

bad things happen to those who use a Death Note even once! D:

... his new pet mouse?

Is a Death Note an anime thing? *hangs head in shame*

Hmm, I thought I had done both? *goes to check*

I HAVE A TITLE AND A SUBTITLE. LET ME SHOW YOU IT.

Who Framed Derren Brown?: A fan-created work of pure fiction, in which characters within twisted tales and riveting reads as diverse as "The Sandman", "Animaniacs" "Firefly" and "Supernatural", as well as Messrs. D. Brown and R. Stiles, interact with each other in improbable and absurd circumstances.

My fic bunny also involves Derren Brown being really, really evil (in ways that rather alarmingly resemble things he's actually done to people, filmed, and broadcast on television). But polite. And I have not title. Or Death Notes.

FIREFLY. River and Derren interating? Simon and Derren making out?
