Meme. BECAUSE WHY NOT.

...well, actually, I know why not. It's because you people are pure evil and will probably give me some really freaking weird things to write. BUT I WILL POST THIS ANYWAY. BECAUSE I AM A FOOL.

Give me a character (or a pairing, or anything you like, really) from a fandom (er, preferably one that I'm familiar with. Crossover if you must), and a theme to go with it, and I'll write you a one sentence fic. Repeat as many times as you like.

I'll try to stick to one sentence. If I feel the urge to write anything longer, I'll give you a one-sentence fic as well. If I'm given any Silent Hill 2 prompts, I may well expand upon them and use them for the fanfic100 challenge. I will of course give you your fair share of the royalties.

She would have been fine with the talking portrait - she'd seen weirder, after all - but when Phineas insulted her for being so determined to get back to the Doctor that she'd rip open 'that remarkable machine', she had thrown herself at him; as she protested to Mickey once he'd nursed her back to health, she couldn't have known about the protective spell.


...heh, I'm not sure about 'theme' either. Yours seem fine, though. I'll get the Cedric one done tomorrow.

And, er, if you'll forgive me my asking... would it be at all possible to upload the Macbeth adaptation anywhere in non-torrent form? I realise that a one-sentence fic isn't exactly a fair exchange, but...

You know, I got confused while reading this comment and thought for a moment that you had asked for James and Mary on wagons. Whether it would have meant talking about wagons or literally being on wagons, I'm not entirely sure. Anyway, you'll get the afterlife one... at some point! Hopefully before six months have passed.

Because this moment is what I immediately think of when given that character set and prompt. Spoilers for Silent Hill 2. ASSLESS FREEEEEAK.




As Eddie raised the shotgun and James stood frozen with terror, his mind replaying the conversation just moments before (The next person who makes fun of me, I'll kill 'em!), his last conscious thought was that perhaps "Eddie, have you gone nuts?" was not the smartest thing he could have said.

This fic was originally supposed to begin with 'when they were on the wagon to Silent Hill', but I couldn't bring myself to do it.


When they were on the way to Silent Hill she turned to him and asked whether he believed in an afterlife, and he was silent for a moment, looking at her - perhaps you have an afterlife - you will have an afterlife, I know you will, but for me death will be the end - and eventually he said of course, just to see her smile.
